As written in the book of James 1:27, it is a blessing to serve God and fulfill his word. God used the Apostle James to summarize what true Christianity is in this single verse. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” This verse was the key that inspired my wife and I a couple of years back to start Life Builders Ministry International. When we saw the negative impact that HIV/AIDS was having on the children living in the Majority of the world, especially in Africa; our hearts became restless for weeks. We started fasting and praying for what God would lead us to do. God specifically gave us the name: “Life Builders”, with the mandate to go and build lives of widows and orphans whose lives have been devastated by the pandemic. Today, hundreds of widows and orphans have been rescued from sex trafficking, gangsters, poverty and slavery through this mandate. It pays to serve the Lord and be obedient to his call. God is faithful to his covenant and has blessed this ministry in so many ways.
