Remembering Nurse Florence Ojo
Life Builders Hospital grieves the loss of one of our longest employees, Florence Ojo, who passed away unexpectedly on September 30th. After numerous attempts to save her life failed, she passed away from heart failure. For nearly ten years, Nurse Ojo has worked as a staff member at Life Builders Hospital. She was a passionate and skilled nurse and saved many lives in her time with Life Builders Hospital and ministry including countless orphans and widows. She was a dedicated nurse who was loved and appreciated by all of our doctors and she will be greatly missed. After her husband passed away in 2012, Life Builders began sponsoring her three children. The oldest, Elizabeth, will begin college this year and John recently graduated from high school in June. Her youngest son, Daniel, is a freshman in high school. All of them attended Life Builders Academy. Please offer them your prayers as they cope with this unexpected loss.
October Orphan Success Story
Life Builders is proud of recent graduate, Afolabi Mayowa Emmanuel, for his great success in the orphan sponsorship program. Afolabi is the oldest child of three and his father passed away in 2008 when Afolabi was only five years old. After his father's death, life was extremely hard for him and his family. He still feels that he never had a true chance to get to know or grow up with his father. Afolabi, his two siblings, and mom were neglected by their extended family who would constantly take money and other belongings from them.

After years of suffering, Afolabi and his family were introduced to Life Builders and received sponsorship through the university level. They were overjoyed to hear about the new opportunities this sponsorship would grant them. Since then, Afolabi has taken his senior secondary examination and done exceptionally well. He currently awaits admission into college so that he can continue to advance in his education. It is thanks to his generous sponsor for the opportunities he has been granted in life.
Interested in making a difference? Help a child in need today by sponsoring one of our many orphans in desperate need of sponsorship.
Independence Day Celebration in Nigeria

The anniversary of Nigeria's Independence Day took place on October 1st. We used this celebration as a chance to pray for our beloved nation and its citizens. A special breakfast and prayer session was held yesterday, and the president of Life Builders was asked to pray over the country and the upcoming presidential election.
