Alakuko Hospital Clinic
We are so grateful to all of our sponsors who donated toward last month’s matching campaign. Together, we raised the $32,000 needed to complete the construction of the Alakuko Hospital Clinic building and only need $10,000 more to purchase an electric generator to supply the hospital with power. Sadly, the public supply of electricity in Nigeria is less than 10% of what is needed for a functioning hospital. If you would like to make a major donation in memory of a loved one, please let us know and we will name a ward or operating room in honor of that person. We are now waiting on official government licensing and have set the official hospital commissioning date for May 2022.

We are proud of our recent graduate, Jimoh Abiodun Oluwadamilare, who is now successfully running an automotive brake repair shop in Nigeria. After his father passed away in 2001, Jimoh was unable to access quality education and did not have enough to eat. In 2013, Life Builders began sponsoring him and covering his school fees, food and clothing. After he graduated from high school, Jimoh was able to complete entrepreneur training and graduate as a vehicle mechanic thanks to his generous sponsor. He now runs his own brake repair shop and is able to provide for himself and his family.
Life builders academy & boarding school
After the election of new PTA officers last month, Life Builders Academy is thriving. Our teachers are doing well at both the professional and personal level. Our school is a safe haven for students to learn about Christ and many students from Muslim backgrounds have recently come to faith thanks to our wonderful teachers whose love permeates through everything they do. Please continue to pray for our teachers and the two campus pastors who teach our staff and students how to walk with God.
