Life Builders Academy

Our students have just finished their final academic term for this past school year. We are proud to mark our third year of graduating students with an outstanding academic performance and are thankful for our partners, supporters and most importantly, God, in our journey with Life Builders Academy. New academic updates on sponsored orphans will be provided in the coming months.

Sponsored Orphan Success Story

In lieu of our recent graduates, we celebrate Ruth Arowosegbe Adebola. After her father passed away when she was just five years old, she participated in the Life Builders Sponsored Orphan Program and her life improved drastically. From struggling to find her next meal to graduating college, she is a wonderful example of the benefits of sponsoring an orphan through Life Builders and how impactful your sponsorship truly is. Ruth will graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Microbiology this September and thanks her sponsor for their continuous support.

Life Builders Hospital & Alakuko Clinic

Both of our hospitals continue to save lives each day through our medical ministry and wonderful staff. Although our hospitals are necessary and important for daily use, our resources are limited. Both orphans and widows are cared for, as well as staff, students, and family members through the ministry of the hospital. It is our hope by May 2022 that our hospitals will be self-sufficient and we will no longer rely on donations to support our staff.

We are grateful for the leadership provided by our new Medical Director who coordinated both hospitals and provided direction for the staff. We are currently recruiting nursing staff for both clinics and pray to God that he will send us people able to take on this role.

Mission Team Update

Our Missions Team is coordinating a trip for volunteers to join our ministry next summer. If you are interested in joining us, please reach out to our Board Chairman, Tony Losinger, at tony_losinger@yahoo.com. More details will be provided in the coming months.

Last month, Blessing Oluwayemi, Co-Founder, visited her son in San Jose, California after he had been hospitalized earlier in the month thanks to a generous board member who paid for her ticket. She returned home this past week. Emmanuel and Blessing still plan to visit Chicago-land at the end of 2022. Details on their travel plans will be shared closer to their arrival including opportunities to meet.
